🎖️ Heart Rate Not Showing On Garmin Connect
heart rate sync to apple health app. KaiC155 over 8 years ago. I don't see the heart rate data being written to the apple health. Am I missing something or it's the way to be? And why not? A dedicated community for Garmin users to ask questions, provide answers, and share feedback.
I've noticed, that the HR measurements are sometimes completely wrong, see also below. It's showing an average of 56 or 59, but I know that is wrong. My bicycle ergometer was showing HR of 70-80 (I am doing very mild traning these days). I was using "other" activity. It's not happening always, I had occasions, where the HR appeared to be correct.
The watch still isn't updating to the correct zones. For example, i have my zone 5 to start at 178 BPM and when i look in my stats-user profile - heart rate zones, it shows my max hr correct and my rhr correct, but the zones dont show the correct ranges (zone 5 starts at 167). This is after multiple attempts to sync with two different
Note that the Android Garmin Connect app Heart Rate Zones only shows Zones 1 to 5 and Max Heart Rate in % of Max Heart Rate mode. My Heart Rate zones and Intensity Minutes still wasn't working properly and I found that my Resting HR was set to 30 bpm upon checking the VA3 Settings - User Profile - Heart Rate Zones - Default.

I am using a Fenix 2 and have my Garmin Connect linked to my Strava account so that it automatically updates Strava after sucking the device with Garmin connect. This work perfectly and I've had no problems with it at all. I've noticed though that my heart rate data from indoor cycling activities is not going from connect to Strava.
I have recently purchased a garmin swim 2 which I'm using with the android garmin connect app. I seem to have the heart rate zones set up ok, I'm 49 and when I check the garmin connect app I can see the heart rate zones are based on "% of max". Max Heart rate: 171 100%. Zone 1: 86 BPM 50% to 103 BPM 60%. Zone 2: 103 BPM 60% to 120 BPM 70%
For the last 2 days in the middle of the afternoon I watch has stopped tracking heart rate and steps. In fact one day I was watching it and I was up to about 15,000 steps around 5:00 p.m. then when I went to go open the app it was showing what I was after my morning walk at 10,000 steps and showed no steps between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m..
It's not possible in Connect IQ to get access to the HR zones that are set in Garmin Connect. For that reason I've used User Settings, which is new to Connect IQ 1.2. With these user settings you can set the resting heart rate, maximum heart rate and the boundaries of your HR zones (as %HRR, if you're used to bpm, you can look the corresponding
You can also set each heart rate zone and enter your resting heart rate manually. You can manually adjust your zones on the device or using your Garmin Connect™ account. From the watch face, hold UP. Sure, I even stumbled upon a Garmin explanation and there is one more requirement - your heart rate should hit 70% of your max heart rate. I do not know if it is crucial but all my workouts were contributing to training load. They do not say it explicitly but it does change training effect and training status as well. well, it should.
